You don't have to follow some fancy diet plan to lose weight. In fact doing so will likely lead you to failure. The goal is to create a lifestyle for yourself that promotes health and a healthy body composition.ย
1.)๐๐๐ญ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐ฅ ๐ ๐จ๐จ๐- we all have a pretty good idea what "bad" food is. Basically no fast food, minimize processed food, and no added sugar.
2.) ๐๐๐ญ ๐ ๐๐ฐ๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง - this is basic science and THE ONLY WAY TO LOSE WEGHT! It really is just that simple.ย
3.) ๐๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ฌ- don't hide from carbs or fat but keep them in proportion to your Protein. I recommend a 40/30/30 ratio (40% protein, 30% carbs, 30% fat).
4.) ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ค ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฌ - only 0 calorie soda and energy drinks. Avoid juice and alcohol. Notice I did not say no artificialย sweeteners, and no they don't affect blood sugar.ย
5.) ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ - do not make these a part of your daily plan. You don't need some magic shake or bar to help you lose weight. In fact they tend to make healthy eating harder. Instead use them when you get in a pinch and don't have access to real food!
